Property tax

Everyone that has an apartment in Didim are obliged to pay property tax. This can be done by turning to the administration of the municipality (Belediye)

The property tax is regulated regularly, and is based on the apartment’s square meters, how many owners etc.

If you do not pay your property tax, it will increase year after year as interests are added. This might sum up in a large amount even though the yearly property tax is not that high.

The property tax is to be paid in January and July, but it is possible to pay annual.

When you want to pay your property tax, you should bring with you:

▪    your tax numbers

▪    your registration number in the municipality

▪    your property deed (TAPU)

Road tax

If you have a motorized vehicle, you need to pay road tax. This is to be done in January and July, at the tax office. The tax office is situated in the centre of Didim, next to the police station.
