The waterworks (ASKI) has an office in the centre of Didim, but also a small office in Mavişehir.

You may pay for your use of water in two different ways. When the complex was finished built, we had water meters with chargeable cards installed. The cards work the way that you charge your card with a certain amount and you will have water accessible until that amount is used. These cards can be filled up at the market in Mavişehir or at their office in Didim. When you fill up your card ASKI will also charge the annual water, sewage, and renovation fee.

You might change your water meter and set up a direct debit from your Turkish bank account. In this case your water consumption will be paid automatically and the water, sewage, and renovation fee (12 Tl per month in 2019) will be paid monthly.

Water for the common areas come from a well that is owned by the builder. PB2 and PB 4 use water from this well also.

In Turkey we have quite a lot of sand, also in the water. We have therefor put on filters on the main supply but do recommend doing this also on the water supply into your own apartment. Those who have already done this chose an English-speaking plumber, if you want this solution – please contact Vision / Samantha.

If you use a large water container, you may buy water through our caretaker. He keeps water in stock and will carry it up to the apartment on your request. He will need payment for the water plus a small fee for the extra service of delivering water on your doorstep.

There is also a tap for well-water alongside the Atatürk road, adjacent to Ergin Market.
